According to a new report from TMZ, the couple will tie the knot at San Diego's Grand Del Mar Casino. The pair has been dating for a year and a half and first announced their engagement last February.

Prejean made national headlines after Miss USA pageant owner Donald Trump stripped the beauty of her crown, citing repeated breaches of contract. The incident came after Prejean stumbled over questions about gay marriage during the pageant.

Carrie Prejean may have lost her crown, but she's getting a husband. The controversial ex-Miss California USA will tie the knot with NFL player Kyle Boller Friday in San Diego, E! News reported Tuesday. Prejean, 23, and Oakland Raiders quarterback Boller, 29, reserved an unspecified number of rooms at the Grand Del Mar Hotel for the weekend wedding, a resort employee told E!

Gossip site TMZ first reported news of the nuptials. Prejean gathered nationwide attention last year after blaming her loss in the Miss USA pageant competition on her opposition to gay marriage. "We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite," Prejean told celebrity blogger and pageant judge Perez Hilton during the competition. "And you know what, I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised.

Former beauty queen Carrie Prejean is set to wed her NFL quarterback boyfriend Kyle Boller in San Diego. Prejean, 23, became engaged to Boller, 29, quarterback for the Oakland Raiders, in February 2010, the New York Post reported.

They now plan to marry on July 2 at the Grand Del Mart hotel in Southern California. Prejean had made headlines as a runner-up in the Miss USA 2009 pageant, when she said she believed marriage should be between a man and woman when pageant judge Perez Hilton asked her about same-sex marriage.

Rima Fakih and Carrie Prejean were both involved in scandals relating to the Miss USA pageants. However, their scandals, while similar, are not the same. Both scandals involve Miss USA photos that surfaced after the pageant ended.

First, it must be said that Carrie Prejean was not crowned Miss USA, but was Miss California. Rima Fakih, Miss Michigan, was crowned Miss USA on May 16, 2010.

Carrie Prejean’s scandalous photos showed Carrie with her shirt wide open and her breasts partially exposed. Photos of Carrie before the Miss USA pageant that surfaced showed her completely topless.
