Just when it seemed like things couldn’t get worse for the St. Louis Rams, SportsChat hears quarterback Kyle Boller is dating disgraced sex-tape producer Carrie Prejean. There is no clearer sign that your team is irrelevant than seeing your quarterback have to reach so far toward the bottom of the barrel to date a celebrity.

Of course, the same goes for Prejean. If she had managed to say just one thing of substance since her break-out homophobic performance, she would probably at least be able to snag a Chad Henne. As it is, if she had sold about  100 fewer books, she would be dating JaMarcus Russell. Even if she turns it around and wins a Nobel Peace Prize, it goes without saying a hotness bomb would have to detonate in her face before she could even get a look from your Tony Romos and Tom Bradys.

This coupling certainly destroys the myth that NFL quarterbacks can date any woman they want, which is fully 90% of the reason civilian men envy them. Is football really worth the crippled knees and early onset Alzheimer’s if waking up next to Carrie Prejean is the only thing you have to show for it? At least Boller doesn’t have to worry about getting invited to any pesky gay weddings. SportsChat doubts he would enjoy hunting for suitably fabulous gifts.

Carrie Prejean is an American hero. And I mean that honestly. Not just an American hero, but a saint. She could be canonized. Now I know you’re saying, Mark, that is a ridiculous assertion, she’s a bigoted figure on the national scene who happens to be a beauty queen. But I beg of you, look deeper. Look past the initial appearances. Carrie Prejean is a patron saint.

Carrie Prejean's lawyer has termed a lawsuit filed by USA pageant officials seeking return of the money the pageant paid for her breast implants as 'appalling and pathetic.'

The surgery cost $5,200 and Pageant officials claim Prejan entered into an oral agreement to refund the money. In a statement released to RadarOnline.com, Carrie's lawyer states:

"This is just the latest installment in K2 Production's ongoing smear campaign against Carrie Prejean. They have proven, once again, that they will use whatever scurrilous accusations they can dredge up – or invent – to try and tarnish Carrie's reputation and her good name. It is both appalling and pathetic to see K2 and their friends in Hollywood try to destroy this young woman simply for standing up for her beliefs."

In their lawsuit, K2 had stated that they "agreed to loan Ms. Prejean money to pay for breast augmentation surgery so that she (in her opinion) would be more competitive at the Miss USA 2009 pageant" and "the idea for Ms. Prejean to have the breast augmentation surgery came from Ms. Prejean herself, not from K2 Productions or the Miss Universe Organization."

"I was so honored to be in the calendar as one of the great American conservative women. As a former beauty queen, it's refreshing to be taken seriously," she said in a statement.

The 22-year-old also spoke about her desire for young conservative women to become leaders on campus.

"It's so important for young women on college campuses to feel comfortable standing up for their conservative ideas. Conservative women need to be vocal in the public, and get involved in the media," Prejean said. "I hope to have encouraged, and inspired other conservative women out there to not hold back, engage in intelligent discussions, stand up for what you believe in, and get involved. We cannot see a change if we don't start with ourselves."

The calendar also features other notable conservative women including Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, and Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.).

But back to Prejean. Pop Tarts recently caught up with her replacement Tami Farrell at the EW/Women in Film party in West Hollywood, and while the fellow blonde felt it was "very unfair the way she (Carrie) was attacked by the media," she also said she chose her words and with that comes consequences.

Beauty queen Carrie Prejean modeled some less-than-modest Halloween costumes for Women of Marvel last year, before her Miss California fiasco. Um, is this supposed to be hoochie Spiderwoman? [TMZ] We’re not sayin’ these Halloween costumes make Miss I’m Sooooo Into Family Values a hypocrite or anything. We’re just sayin’.

“Spontaneous ejaculation,” supposedly a medical condition, is no excuse for acting like a creep! A Singapore judge ruled recently against 28-year-old Chong Weien, who got nabbed splooging on a fellow student’s thigh in 2006. Ew! Weien, who is also a National University of Singapore student (in psychology, ha), was riding a bus when he pressed his crotch up against some chick’s thigh and blew his load. She took him to court for an “outrage of modesty,” which the judge agreed with, despite testimony from two doctors who said Weien does indeed suffer from a “spontaneous ejaculation” problem. Hmm, maybe it was the fact that creepy Weien was jailed for 15 months and caned three times in 2002 for a similar conviction? [Straights Times, hat tip to True/Slant]

Prejean is currently being featured on several costume websites modeling outfits that could easily be worn by a stripper. Carrie took the job modeling the Women of Marvel costume line last year -- before her infamous anti-opposite marriage moment at the Miss USA pageant -- though the costumes are just now being released. Carrie even rocked the wholesome getup down the runway at Comic Con 2008.
