Carrie Prejean an American model took part in a beauty pageant and was crowned Miss California USA 2009.This Pageant could have ended up like all other normal beauty pageants. But a chanced question about same-sex marriage, and Prejeans response to it, changed the whole scenario. During the Miss USA 2009 pageant, one of the judges, Perez Hilton, asked her views on whether every US state should legalize same-sex marriage, her answer to which was,

“Well I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one way or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And, you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman, no offense to anybody out there. But that’s how I was raised and I believe that it should be between a man and a woman. This also could have passed of as a decent answer as the owner of Miss Universe Organisation Donald Trump puts it, “Miss California has done a wonderful job” and that “It wasn’t a bad answer that was simply her belief. But Perez Hilton’s vedio blog in which he called Prejean a “dumb Bitch” condemning her reply as “the worst in pageant history” drew the immediate attention of the media. He told ABC News her answer cost her the crown, stating that “There are various other ways she could have answered that question and still stayed true to herself without alienating millions of people.

In between half-hearted attempts at storming off "Larry King Live" and testy appearances on The View, Carrie Prejean spoke to Christianity Today about her breast implants, why she's not homophobic, and what it means to be a Christian beauty queen. We've taken the liberty of bolding the good parts. On whether or not breast implants are "compatible" with the Christian faith.  No, I don't think there's anything wrong with getting breast implants as a Christian. I think it's a personal decision. I don't see anywhere in the Bible where it says you shouldn't get breast implants. On beauty pageants. I think you can be a Christian and compete in a pageant. I think you can be a Christian and be a model. It depends on how you act as that role, and if you remember who you are and you remember what you stand for and stay true to who you are, you can be in any job. Just don't compromise what you believe in.

Prejean told Fox News on Monday and NBC's "Today" show on Tuesday that she shot the X-rated video of herself alone when she was 17 and sent it to a boyfriend. But her ex-boyfriend disputes the claim, revealing she asked him to lie about her age and say she was 17 at the time, report TMZ. During an interview with TMZ, the man, who doesn't want to be identified, said Prejean sent him the video when they were dating in 2007, among other numerous explicit videos and insists the one in question was shot when she was 20-years-old.
